Shattered Memories

In the rubble of a house, a teenager finds himself trapped between the shadows of his past and the horror of the present. After fleeing a home marked by his father's violence, he returns years later, haunted by buried memories. Armed only with his determination and a simple flashlight, he explores the dark corridors and dilapidated rooms, seeking to unravel the mysteries of the house and confront the demon that resides within.

Project carried out during our 1st year of Bachelor in game design, where we had to create a 2D PC game on the theme of “Experiencing an Emotion”, the chosen emotion being Vigilance and its follow-up,(So it's normal if there are bugs). So we've opted for an exploration-horror game in which we tackle subjects relating to the psychology of our protagonist, in particular his traumas linked to his father. The game is intended to be a kind of retracement of these various traumas, enabling the protagonist to stop kidding himself and begin his healing process. The monster in the house is none other than her father, metaphorized as something horrible.
